She has a wide range of environmental and climate justice experiences along with grassroots organizing. Previous work experiences include being an Engineer/Project Director with the City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management and City of Atlanta Dept of Aviation (Environmental Planner) but now she makes her living in commercial real estate. Kim is a community leader and has been a champion for change in inequities that impact the environment, housing, and community issues. She attended Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, AL and has a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry and a Minor in Physics. It has been instilled in her since birth to serve. Her life has been dedicated to serving others, whether it was in her community, work environment, or helping the disadvantaged get the resources they need. Rennitta worked in the medical field for 22 years as an EEG Tech, she has taught school in both public, and private sectors. Currently she works as a Parent Resource Coordinator for the Burke County Public School System and in this role, she assists parents and children with their needs. Whether it is helping folks get educated on voting rights or getting them signed up to vote and taking them to the polls, she’s there. She is the Farm Liaison at Aluma Farm, Americorps Vista Alumni, an activist against wrongful imprisonment, a long time member of Peoplestown Revitalization Corporation, and finds joy in educating her community on the importance of fresh affordable food access. Cornnetta has a Degree of Applied Science and Biology, and a Certification in Human Resources. She is also a poet and writer. Andrea has a Master of Public Administration degree with an emphasis in public policy. She has served in Senior roles overseeing successful public policy and social justice campaigns promoting economic and environmental justice programs and antidiscrimination legislation. Andrea has served as an executive in local government, overseeing the regulatory enforcement of the fair housing law and as Regional Director for a nonprofit advocating for free and fair elections. She is passionate about improving the quality of life for all Georgia residents. Andrea is a graduate of Hampton University and a native of Atlanta, GA.
